How to perform the movement
Set the seat and back pad so your lower back stays supported throughout the repetition.
Place your feet close together near the middle of the platform, with the toes and knees pointing along the same line.
Lower the sled by bending the knees and hips while keeping both feet flat and the knees tracking over the toes.
Press the platform away through the whole foot until the legs are extended without snapping the knees straight.
Return under control and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
Technique cues and common mistakes
Use only as narrow a stance as lets the knees track comfortably over the toes.
Keep the heels down and avoid letting the knees collapse inward as the sled descends.
Do not trade pelvic position for depth; stop before the lower back starts to round off the pad.
