How to perform the movement
- Load one end of a barbell into a landmine attachment and load the other end with a plate.
- Stand in a staggered or square stance and cup the sleeve end of the barbell in both hands at chest height.
- Brace your core and press the bar forward and upward along its natural arc.
- Fully extend your arms without locking the elbows, then lower the bar back under control.
- Keep both hands on the bar throughout and repeat for the desired number of reps.
Technique cues and common mistakes
- Keep your torso upright and avoid leaning excessively into the press.
- The angled path makes it more shoulder-friendly than a strict overhead press.
- Use a push-press leg drive for heavier loads.
